On Pentecost Sunday, May 20, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will install The Reverend Mark Reiff as Pastor. This worship/Installation during service which begins at 9:30 AM.  Please join us for this very special service.

Pastor Reiff earned his Master of Divinity Degree from Northwestern Theological Seminary, St. Paul, MN.  He has also completed theological studies at St. George’s College, Jerusalem;  Chichester Theological College, Chichester, England; Oxford University, Magdalen College and Wycliff Hall; The Anglican College, Rome Italy; St Wigbert’s  Monastery, Werningsdorf, Thuringia, Germany; and the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.

Pastor Reiff said this, “I have been to the Holy Lands of Israel, Jordan and Egypt (the Sinai) six times since 1998.  Each of these pilgrimages, with the attendant

studies at St George’s College, have enriched my life, my faith, and my understanding of scripture in ways that have been profound and powerful.  It has deeply affected and impacted my preaching, teaching, and ministry.”

Pastor Reiff has previously served as Pastor of Lutheran Congregations in Minnesota, California, New York, Washington and Wisconsin.

The congregation of Shepherd of the Hills is excited to be starting a new chapter in our Christian life of worship, witness and service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with Pastor Reiff as our pastor and shepherd.  

Following the Installation Service, there will be a reception in Bertschy Hall, next to the Church.  Shepherd of the Hills is located at 37015 Orange Valley Lane, Dade City (corner of Ft. King and Clinton).  Our Sunday Service is at 9:30 AM.  If you are looking for a church home, please join us.

Thrivent Day at the Rays on August 4th    


Pastor is planning on taking the acolytes to this game against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday, August 4th at 6:10 pm in gratitude for their service at our Sunday morning worship. 

If anyone else is interested in being a part of this exciting evening of baseball, please contact the church office and sign up with Selena and we will plan on car pooling to the game that night.

the third Saturday of every month from 10 am until Noon.  
All those in need are welcome to stop by.
Potluck is the first Sunday of the month after service.

Our board meetings are the second Sunday of every month after service.
Men’s breakfast and bible study is every Thursday at 8:30 am.
Sisters On A Mission (S.O.A.M.) meet the third Tuesday of every month at 10 am.
